Natural Ingredients
As a teacher and practitioner of Aromatherapy I have long been concerned with the number of artificial ingredients that are added to facial creams and moisturisers. We do not yet know the long term effect that chemicals such as sodium lauryl sulphate and propylene glycol, widely used in cosmetics, have on the body. It was for this reason that I decided to make my own natural facial oil that nurtured the skin in the way nature intended, and was free from chemicals and preservatives. Although originally made for my personal use and that of my friends and family, it has rapidly acquired a wider clientele, who have persuaded me to make it generally available to all those who share my concerns about the contents of the cosmetics they are applying daily to their skin.

Oils versus Creams
I decided to make a faci

al oil instead of a cream for a number of reasons. Firstly, because I was able to source natural organic ingredients. Secondly, the oil contains high levels of poly-unsaturated fatty acids allowing for easier absorption. It is also rich in vitamins, especially vitamin E and F. Lastly, after having tested this oil on myself, I now believe that oils, (especially when used at night when the skin is at rest), work better than creams for helping to replenish and re-energise the skin.

How to use the Oil
The oil works best when used at night when the skin is resting. It is best to apply it about one hour before bed, as this allows for total absorption by the body. Apply a little oil to clean hands and massage it into the face and neck, I would also suggest periods in which the skin is allowed the freedom to breath naturally without moisturisers (or cosmetics) of any kind. One month of moisturising the skin followed by one week off is advised. I find that this helps the oil to maintain its effectiveness.

Patch Test before use
I have very sensitive skin and find I can use the oil easily with no adverse reaction. However, as with all new products you should patch test first. Put a little oil on the inside of your elbow where the skin is thinnest, and leave for 24 hours. If you have had no adverse reaction such as itching, redness or swelling, then it is safe to use.
This product has not been tested on animals! It has however been
tested on me!

I am so pleased to be able to offer this facial oil to you. I have made each one with care, and I hope that it benefits you as much as it has me.

With my best wishes
